Rotary Club of Brighton Charitable Foundation, with the assistance of a Rotary District 9800 Foundation Grant, has donated a 24hr Public Access Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Tower outside the new Brighton Life Saving Club & Beach House Café buildings, visible from the bathing boxes and the beach. On Saturday November 16, 2024 the Rotary Club of Brighton & Brighton Life Saving Club launched the first 24hr Public Access Automated External Defibrillator. |

National Model United Nations AssemblyThe Rotary Club of Brighton supported a number of high school students to compete in the Rotary District 9800 Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) in May this year. Two of the students, Nicholas Michele and Kenneth Yeung from Brighton Grammar were the event’s winning debating team. Over the weekend 17 - 18 August 2024, the boys travelled to Canberra to represent our Rotary District in the Rotary’s 25th National MUNA at the historic House of Representatives Chamber in Canberra’s Old Parliament House (now the Museum of Australian Democracy - MoAD). |
