It’s all hands on deck in Bayside!

Academia is not always the right path for every student and alternative career pathways are not always forthcoming. A real team effort for vocational options are being provided with a new intiative from the Rotary Club of Brighton, Brighton Secondary College and Sandringham Yacht Club, providing new career pathways for local students.

Great Australia Day Swim funding saves lives through drowning prevention

The Great Australia Day Swim 2018 was a great Bayside Event but also a fabulous FUNdraiser that saves lives. Did you know that $15,000 went to Swim Vietnam and has enabled over 400 teachers trained so far with survival swimming skills and water safety knowledge courses. With almost 900 kids having completed swim programs in the last quarter, this support allowed Swim Vietnam to continue their work in the prevention drowning and water safety lessons throughout Vietnam!
