It’s fully recovered from Covid and back from its hiatus – yes it’s the Bayside Art Show 2023. The Gala Opening Night was wonderful, as is the event set up and staging. It is a real credit to Norm Thomas, Anne Holland, and the whole Art Show team. Congratulations to all involved. (Highlights of Art Show below).
I am looking forward to this coming Thursday. it’s a packed evening and features David Whiting as our main speaker. David is a lawyer, Radio commentator and a long-standing Rotarian. And its our last meeting at the Brighton Beach Hotel for 2023 as the following week’s meeting will be at the Royal Brighton Yacht Club with Anne Ross, a local artist and sculptor as the guest speaker.
I know everyone is focused on getting ready for Xmas, but 2024 is around the corner. Bookings are now open for the District Conference at Bendigo over the weekend - Friday 12 to Sunday 14 April 2024. Its Rotary. This is a great opportunity to meet and mix with other Rotarians in our District, to get together in-person, and enjoy all things Rotary.
