About Rotary Club of Brighton
The Rotary Club of Brighton (RCB) is a well-established active, progressive, not-for-profit club located in the heart of Bayside, Victoria. As one of the largest Rotary Clubs in Australia, our members take pride in what we’ve been able to accomplish to make a difference in the world around us. Using our passions, contributions, networks and expertise whatever they are, we have helped build a better world locally, nationally, and globally. And we do this every day.
Our Club number is 18309 and forms part of District 9800.
What we do
Brighton Rotary is known for its high impact initiatives, hands on community projects, FUNdraising and social events, fellowship, high profile and interesting speakers, extensive philanthropic support, plus actively collaborating with community groups. The club’s broad philosophy is to contribute to a balance of projects across a range of community needs and across both domestic (local and national) and international causes.
Our members use their passion, energy, networks and expertise to take action to make a difference on a diverse range of sustainable projects for the greater good. From education and peace, to water and health, we are always working to provide service above self. There are lots of opportunities for members to become involved in areas they are passionate about and where they have personal interests.
Our Club is made up of a diverse multi-generational group of (mostly) professional people, business and community leaders - some retired, others fully or partly active in their fields. Our membership base has a diverse background which includes engineers, lawyers and accountants, sales, construction and real estate, academics and public servants, social service agencies, stockbrokers, bankers and financial advisors, business owners and self-employed consultants, professional board directors, HR professionals, medical and health specialists, and many others.
Through them and with them, we can leverage our own resources of people, expertise, time and money to achieve so much more together than we or they can achieve on our own.
