Event - Celebrating Women in Australian Rules Football - Charity Breakfast

In Celebration of this exciting time for Women’s Football, The Susan Alberti Medical Research Foundation SAMRF in conjunction with The Rotary Club of Brighton will be holding this wonderful “Celebrating Women in Australian Rules Football” breakfast on Friday 2 September at 7am in the Members Dining Room at the MCG.

This breakfast is a special occasion, as it is the inaugural annual event, to be held in the home of Australian Football.

The event will host a panel of “who’s who” in Women’s football and give the guests an insight into all things football in particular a preview of the 2017 AFL Women’s season.

Net proceeds will be donated equally to Victoria University for an Aspiring Elite scholarship(s) for a woman in the sporting field who would otherwise not have had the opportunity, together with Ardoch Youth Foundation Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths program ”STEM” to be taught by volunteers in early childhood centres in disadvantaged communities in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.
