The 43rd Bayside Art Show was held August 21-25 at Sandringham Yacht Club. The Show was a great success highlighted by a opening night attended by over 300 people and a big increase in attendance over previous years Principal beneficiary of funds raised from the show will be The Brighton Recreational Centre.

The Art Show is a major fundraiser in August which showcases local and rising talent with an event ranging over a few days. Art is selected by a panel and sold to the public with a set commission going to the Club.

This year's show will be a high profile event in Bayside's newest venue, the Sandringham Yacht Club overlooking Port Philip Bay. For the first time in the show's history the opening night will be a spectacular black tie evening.

Opening Times:

Wednesday (Opening Night) August 21st 6:30pm - 10pm

Thursday - Saturday 22 - 24th August 10am - 6pm

Sunday 25th August 10am - 4pm

The Bayside Art Show will this year attract well over 2000 visitors during its four days, in addition to the many invited guests at our opening night.

The Rotary Club of Brighton has been supporting the Art Show since 1974.

Funds raised by The Bayside Art Show are totally used for a variety of Community Projects. The art show is also the major fundraiser for the Brighton Recreational Centre, a not-for-profit community organisation that provides a diversity of recreational, sporting and cultural activities for all age groups in the local community. The show attracts more than 300 local and regional artists from all over Victoria, with painting sales well in excess of $60,000 each year.
