Anzac Meeting - Shrine of Remembrance Galleries tour & Royce Hotel dinner
From: Wednesday April 17, 2019, 4:45 pm
To: Wednesday April 17, 2019, 9:30 pm
An external meeting will be held on Wednesday 17 April (no meeting will be held on the Thursday) to remember and honour our soldiers who have fought and died for our country.
We will depart by coach at 4.45pm from Halifax Street, Billilla Mansion, to visit the Shrine for a guided tour from 5.30 - 6.30pm, to pay our respects and visit this magnificent war memorial.
We will then be coached to the Royce Hotel, where we will enjoy a two course dinner and drinks in the Grand Ballroom followed by coffee or tea.
Our speaker for the night is Bill Heron, who will regale his experiences as a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War, where he was shot down twice.
Our dinner and wonderful night will finish at approximately 9.30pm, when we will be coached back to Brighton.
The cost is $80 per person.
Please book ASAP as the transport and dinner arrangements need to be confirmed.
Any questions please contact Clyde White on 0418 336 246.
