The Rotary Foundation is one of the great humanitarian and educational foundations of the world.
The Foundation is funded through contributions made by individual Rotarians and their clubs.
A Paul Harris Fellow is the highest award the Rotary Foundation can bestow upon an individual. Named in honour of the founder of Rotary Paul Harris, the award requires a minimum donation of $1000(US) be made to the Foundation.
The Rotary Club of Brighton has a number of Paul Harris Fellows.
In addition there are a number of non-Rotarians honoured, these are partners of Brighton Rotarians or former Rotarians, who have provided exceptional service to our club, our community and to Rotary. We sincerely thank them for their support.
Jack Joel OAM was an active member of the Rotary Club of Brighton. A well regarded entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist, Jack was the Rotary Club of Brighton's first full year president and we gratefully acknowledge the enormous contribution made by Jack in enabling the formation and growth of our club.
