Meeting Thursday 30 May - Speaker Liz Dawes 'Connor Foundation'

Liz Dawes is CEO and founder of the Connor Foundation and 'Connor's Run'. The Liz Dawes was caring for her 17-year-old son Robert Connor during his brain cancer battle she received an anonymous delivery of flowers with a note attached. It read Be Fearless!  This random act of kindness infused her with the strength she needed to endure her boy’s passing and the note remains pinned to her bulletin board today. September 13 marks the 3rd annual Connor’s Run staged in her son’s honour.

Violence Free Families has developed from scratch a world first group online program for male perpetrators of family violence. Comprehensively evaluated by Melbourne University’s Centre for Program Evaluation over four trials, it came out with top marks.

LETTERS FROM ABROAD 2017 - Read about Brighton Rotary's Exchange Student's Experience in Finland

A year away from one’s family, home and friends is a very challenging experience for anyone let alone a young person aged between 15-18 years, some of whom have never been abroad before their exchange year.
