Spreading the love and Christmas Spirit in Bayside!

For many Christmas is a time of joy and giving, fun and festivities, while for others it's a bit mroe challenging. For the third year in a row, the Rotary Clubs of Brighton and Hampton in conjunction with Hampton RSL, hosted the Bayside Family Christmas event to spread some joy to some local families.


Great Australia Day Swim funding saves lives through drowning prevention

The Great Australia Day Swim 2018 was a great Bayside Event but also a fabulous FUNdraiser that saves lives. Did you know that $15,000 went to Swim Vietnam and has enabled over 400 teachers trained so far with survival swimming skills and water safety knowledge courses. With almost 900 kids having completed swim programs in the last quarter, this support allowed Swim Vietnam to continue their work in the prevention drowning and water safety lessons throughout Vietnam! 


Crowd Funding Campaign Cambodia

Clean Water For Cambodia

Following the successful completion of our pilot Sustainable Community Project in Cambodia, Brighton Rotary have launched their first crowd funding campaign to raise vitally needed funds so that we may roll this project out in a second group of villages in an impoverished rural area in the north of Cambodia - home to over 4,000 people.

A man on a mission

Over 14,000 students have benefited from donated school supplies, free supplementary tuition for children from linguistically diverse backgrounds, crisis accommodation, and teen support services.

A Beautiful Achievement – Cambodia

Bossala, Cambodia: 176 villagers. No safe water, no food, no sanitation and no medical care. Of all the achievements of Rotary, the transformation of the village of Bossala is undoubtedly one of the most inspiring.

US President Franklin Roosevelt said “We cannot always build a future for our youth, but we can always build our youth for the future.” 

This year the Rotary Club of Brighton supported Ally Leggatt with the opportunity to experience the Rotary Youth Exchange year in Finland...

ABC News Showcases Violence Free Families' World First Online Men’s Program.

Violence Free Families has developed from scratch a world first group online program for male perpetrators of family violence. Comprehensively evaluated by Melbourne University’s Centre for Program Evaluation over four trials, it came out with top marks.
