Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)

The Rotary Youth Leadership Award is a residential camp unlike any other. Over seven days, participants are immersed in a program centred on four key themes:

Challenge by choice, diversity, community and time out.

This year the camp is held at the Oasis Camp in Mt Evelyn from Sunday 2nd December until Saturday 8th December 2018.

This years awardees Eleanor Harel and Sarah Fahey will be travelling to Mt Evelyn to enjoy the wonderful experience that is RYLA.

Both students, Eleanor (21) who is studying to be a teacher at Deakin University and Sarah (25) who is finalising her course in social work at Victoria University, are worthy awardees. Both have demonstrated a high degree of community involvement and awareness beyond their years, with many years of voluntary work and community aid already.

The RCB congratulates them both and club members look forward to hearing from them at a meeting following RYLA.
